Colors of Success: Cat Town Cafe & Adoption Center

Cat Town Cafe & Adoption Center doesn't pussyfoot around with its print marketing. what began as a Kickstarter campaign is now a full-fledged nonprofit

“Cat Town is a nonprofit dedicated to helping shelter cats who are at risk, including sick, senior, injured, shy or under-socialized cats,” said Cathy Niland, Communications Manager for Cat Town. “We bring them here where they have open air to run around and be socialized. And it gives them an opportunity to find a loving home that they deserve.”

Cat Town knows that print marketing plays a key role in raising funds and finding homes for their feline friends.

“Print marketing has been a huge tool for us,” said Niland. “The most important thing in Cat Town is getting our cats adopted, so getting the message out is the most important way we do that. With print marketing, we've been able to reach people through direct mail, and we see our stickers around town. When people are looking to adopt a cat, they know that Cat Town is here. We can't get our cats adopted if the community doesn't know we're here.”

According to Niland, ]]> Cat Town Cafe & Adoption Center ]]> has chosen to focus on print marketing because it doesn’t get lost in the social media shuffle. Instead, Cat Town’s print marketing and social media channels complement each other, and keep their nonprofit top of mind.

“Sharing on social media is important, but being able to send something with beautiful color and beautiful images, which we get from PsPrint, really seals the deal for us,” Niland said.
